Types of subsidies

There are many subsidies, but you do need to do some research. Also, new ones are regularly added or certain subsidies are modified or discontinued. Don't worry, we list the most important and interesting subsidies for you.

My Renovation Subsidy is a subsidy from the Flemish government that allows you to finance your roof renovations and roof insulation. There are a number of conditions, and you must have the work carried out by an official contractor.

My EPC Label Subsidy is a premium from the Flemish government where you carry out extensive work with the aim of significantly improving your EPC value. Note: only property owners are eligible for this premium.

If you installed roof or attic insulation yourself, you can apply for a subsidy for the purchase of the insulation material through Fluvius. The subsidy is valid for invoices from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2024, and must be no more than two years old at the time of application.

Some municipalities also offer subsidies for roof insulation. You can contact your municipality for this, but our advisors are also happy to assist you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Subsidies

Your roof insulation must have an Rd-value of at least 4.5 m2K/W. You can place the insulation material in different layers, but it is important that only the new insulation layer counts for the subsidy. The existing insulation layer or finishing layer does not count.

The costs to insulate your roof depend on the choices you make. Material plays an important role here, as does the way you plan to insulate your roof: from the inside or outside.
