Even if you already have roof insulation, it may sometimes be necessary to replace it. Over time, the existing insulation material can become damaged, and your home may no longer be sufficiently insulated. Are you renovating your roof? Then this is a good time to also insulate your roof. Roof insulation can be installed in two ways: on the inside or outside. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Do you prefer to keep your interior finish intact? Then it is advisable to insulate from the outside.
The most commonly used materials are glass wool, mineral wool, or PIR boards. In some cases, we use a combination of materials.

It is advisable to have your roof insulated if it is not yet insulated. Even if there is already insulation, it may need to be replaced, or the current insulation material may not suffice. Our advisors can assess this immediately and review the possibilities together.
There are several ways to insulate your roof. This can be done with glass wool, mineral wool, or PIR boards. In many cases, we choose PIR insulation. Why? PIR insulation is a synthetic insulation material that we use to reduce heat transfer. The material consists of plastic foam with a closed cell structure, which gives it excellent thermal properties.
The cost of roof insulation depends on various factors: type of roof, type of material... Therefore, we do not like to put a standard price on custom work. Our advisors will visit you and work out a detailed quote. No small print, but 100% transparent.
You should check your roof twice a year: once in the spring and once in the fall:
Preparing your roof for winter
- inspect your roof tiles: are there no damages? Water and snow can cause damage
- clean your gutters: remove leaves or other debris from your gutter so they are completely clear. You don’t want an ice rink in your gutter during winter.
