For this client in Sterrebeek, we carried out an extensive roof renovation on a pitched roof of 133 m². Because the existing roofing contained asbestos, it was safely and expertly removed and disposed of according to the applicable regulations as the first step. This way, we started with a clean slate for the further renovation.

Subsequently, the roof was equipped with a new vapor barrier and fully insulated with PIR insulation boards over an area of 133 m². A well-insulated roof is the foundation of an energy-efficient home, and with this approach, the house amply meets current insulation standards.

For the new roofing, we chose Del Carmen natural slates of 40x25 cm. Natural slates exude timeless elegance and fit perfectly with both traditional and rural homes. Moreover, they are completely natural materials with an exceptionally long lifespan, making them an ideal sustainable choice.
