Roof renovation with renewed dormer windows and pitched roof in Wezembeek-Oppem

Because a lot of heat can be lost through a poorly insulated roof, the owners of this house opted for a thorough roof renovation with extra attention to comfort and insulation. Both the pitched roof and the existing dormer windows and small flat roofs were fully addressed and renewed.

The pitched roof was insulated from the outside with 14 cm PIR insulation and finished with new Koramic Pottelberg Stormpan 44 roof tiles in natural red. This not only gave the house a fresh look but also a better-insulated roof shell that is ready for the future again.

The three dormer windows also received a complete makeover. The old finish was replaced with white Rockpanel cladding, and the flat roofs were rebuilt and waterproofed. The existing Velux roof windows were retained but were re-integrated and insulated for extra living comfort under the roof.

Additionally, the zinc work, box gutters, and lead finishes were completely renewed. Even the small flat roof at the entrance was included in the renovation, making the entire roof a beautiful and well-maintained whole again.
