Sleek and Black Roof Renovation in Overijse

This makeover started with quite a bit of demolition work: removing the asbestos roofing, removing the existing sealing from the gutter, and stripping the gutter and overhang so they are ready for new cladding.

If you are renovating your roof, this is also an excellent moment to insulate. Because if you want to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter, it's best to ensure a well-insulated roof. And that's what we did, with 14cm PIR insulation. The dormer was also insulated.

For this beautiful black look, we clad the roof edge and gutter with black Rockpanel. This is a very fire-safe and durable material.

For the finishing touch, we completed the roof with Koramic Pottelberg Stormpan 44 roof tiles in anthracite color. This slightly wavy roof tile provides a sleek and timeless whole.
